We're delighted to announce we've been shortlisted for a hat-trick of prestigious awards having been named as finalists in three categories in the Flavours of Herriot Country Awards 2018.
Our hotel and restaurant have been shortlisted in the Restaurant of the Year and Breakfast of the Year categories while one of the team in the kitchen, Joseph Walsh, has been shortlisted in the Young Professional Chef of the Year award. The categories are being hotly contested and the awards received its highest ever number of high-quality nominations.
David Moss, Owner at the Wensleydale Heifer said: “We’re delighted to have been nominated in these fantastic awards which are not only extremely prestigious, but also showcase the very best the region has to offer.
“We’re really looking forward to joining other businesses and organisations from across Herriot Country at the awards event. Our young chef Joseph also has to cook his meal live at an event held at Darlington College which will give him a great opportunity to show off his many skills.”
The Flavours of Herriot Country Awards aim to celebrate the best the area has to offer in food and drink and the awards ceremony will be held on Friday 30th November at The Garden Rooms, Tennants, Leyburn.
