Coronavirus/COVID-19 - Updated 16/05/2020

The Government's draft timetable for easing the UK out of lockdown indicates that, all being well, the hospitality sector may begin to reopen from July 4th 2020. This is encouraging news – and news that our team have been eagerly awaiting.

Naturally we are excited at the prospect of re-opening – we've missed our lovely guests very much indeed! And it goes without saying that when we are able to reopen, every possible measure will be in place to protect the well-being of our guests and our dedicated staff team.

In preparation for re-opening, we are again taking room bookings for dates after July 4th. Normally we ask for a deposit to hold a room but, given that the reopening date is not yet set in stone, we won't take a deposit until that date is absolutely confirmed. 

So, while you'll be asked for card details to secure the booking, absolutely no advance payment or deposit will be taken until we are certain that we will be open on that date.

Bookings can currently only be made online as our office remains closed for the time-being.

Some of our lovely guests may have had a previous booking which was cancelled because of COVID-19 and still have a deposit held with us. When you rebook, please pop the cancellation number you were given into the "comments' section when you rebook and we'll apply that deposit to your new booking. 

We would like to thank everyone for their continued messages of support. They have been so very much appreciated. We have everything crossed that, from July 4th, we'll be able to again offer the very warmest of welcomes here at the Wensleydale Heifer.
